Eligibility:

Your return may not be filed electronically by a tax professional if you:
  • are claiming the following subtractions on Schedule M, Other Additions and Subtractions for individuals:
    • August 1, 1969, valuation limitation amount from Schedule F (Line 20).
    • Enterprise zone, River Edge zone and high impact business dividend subtraction amount from Schedule 1299-C (Line 21).
  • want to amend or correct a previously filed return,
  • claim credit for tax paid to other states on Line 19 other than Missouri, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Wisconsin and their local taxing jurisdiction (i.e., city, county) and you are not a full-year Illinois resident,
  • claim tax credits from Schedule 1299-C on Line 23, or
  • completed Form IL-2210 based on annualized income or are 65 years of age or older and permanently living in a nursing home.
